Who we are
Netmechanics SA ("Netmechanics", "we"), registered at 23 Solonos St, 71409, Heraklion, Crete, is the data controller for personal data collected through netmechanics.gr. We provide web and e-shop development, SaaS software, domain registration and digital marketing services.

What data we collect
Contact forms: name, email, phone, company name and the content of your message.
Job applications: CV and contact details you submit.
Client data: billing and contact details in the context of a service contract (e.g. domain registration, hosting, maintenance).
Browsing data: IP address, device/browser type and usage statistics via cookies (see section 8).
We do not collect special categories of (sensitive) data and our services are not directed at minors.

Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent personal data. Access is limited to:
Service providers acting on our behalf (web hosting, analytics tools such as Google Analytics, email delivery), under data processing agreements.
Public authorities, where required by law.
The [.gr] registry (EETT/FORTH) for domain name registrations, where required.
Some providers (e.g. Google) may process data outside the EEA. Such transfers rely on GDPR-approved safeguards (adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses).
Use of Google API Services
As part of our internal reporting tools, Netmechanics uses Google API services (e.g. Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Ads API) strictly to read performance statistics of the accounts we manage. Netmechanics' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. This data is not sold, not shared with third parties, and not used for advertising purposes beyond performance reporting to the respective client who owns the account.
Retention
Contact requests: up to 2 years from last contact.
Contract and billing data: as required by tax legislation (at least 5 years).
CVs: up to 6 months after the selection process ends, unless you consent to longer retention.
Cookies: for the durations described in section 8.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability and objection, and the right to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise them, contact info@netmechanics.gr. We respond within one month.
If you believe processing violates the law, you may lodge a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
Cookies
The site uses strictly necessary cookies for its operation and, subject to your consent, statistics cookies (Google Analytics) for traffic statistics. You can manage your preferences through the site's cookie consent tool or through your browser settings.
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures (SSL/TLS encryption, access control, regular system updates) to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or leakage.
